Snowmobiling FAQs
I HAVE NO PREVIOUS SNOWMOBILING EXPERIENCE; WILL I FIND IT TO BE DIFFICULT?
Most of our guests have no prior experience. A complete safety orientation and instruction is provided prior to starting your adventure. Operation of a snowmobile is not difficult and most of our guests become comfortable very quickly with the snowmobile.
I AM CONCERNED ABOUT GETTING COLD.
We provide a warm jacket and pants, boots, helmet and gloves. All of our equipment is specifically designed for snowmobiling and it will keep you warm. The snowmobiles handlebars are heated and you will feel heat blowing on you from the motor. Additionally, your snowmobile will have heated seats. If you dress in layers with the outerwear we provide, the cold should not be a concern.
ARE BATHROOMS AVAILABLE?
Bathrooms are available for our use.
HOW LONG DO WE SNOWMOBILE EACH DAY?
Depending on the adventure you purchase, will determine how long your ride will be. Ensure you arrive 20-30 minutes early to get your paperwork signed and get fitted for your snowmobile gear. Travel time from Seattle is approximately 1.5 hours but can increase with ever changing weather conditions.
HOW MANY TOTAL MILES WILL WE TRAVEL?
The areas that you will ride through have over 100 miles of groomed trails. Most of our riding is on the groomed trails and off into the fun powder fields.
HOW MANY PEOPLE ARE IN A GROUP?
You will never have more than 10 snowmobiles in your group and in most cases it is less than this.
WHAT IS A DOUBLE RIDER?
A double rider is a second person on a snowmobile.
HOW OLD DO YOU HAVE TO BE TO OPERATE A SNOWMOBILE?
Everyone must have a valid driver’s license to operate a snowmobile.
WHAT IS INCLUDED IN THE ADVENTURE COST?
We supply all outer clothing, snowmobiles and gasoline.
HOW DO I CARRY MY GEAR WHILE ON THE RIDE?
You can bring a small backpack. This will be carried on a rack on your snowmobile or you may wear it if you are not riding double. We ask that you limit your gear to about 20 pounds. Our sleds are equipped with windshield bags to carry your small items such as your camera, chapstick and miscellaneous snacks..
HOW DO I MAKE A RESERVATION?
A 50% deposit holds your reservation. A confirmation is sent upon receipt of the deposit. The balance is due the date of your adventure. There is a damage deposit of $1000 due the date of your ride and will be fully refunded if no damage is incurred. Alternatively, customers may purchase insurance for $50 to waiver the damage deposit requirement. The insurance covers damage to the sled as well as liability risk for the driver in the case of an accident involving other equipment or persons. We accept cash, travlers checks and credit cards.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
Full Refund will be given with 48 hours or greater.
50% Refund will be given with 24 hours notice.
No Refunds for less than 24 hours notice to cancel.
WHAT IF THE PASS IS CLOSED OR THERE IS AVALACHE DANGER?
We will always keep a close eye on the weather and driving conditions. If either prevent us from getting to our destination or having a safe and fun adventure,
we will either move to ridable location or choose another date. Our goal is to keep everyone safe and have a great time!
